Bill Beckenbach started his career with Clark Consolidated Industries Inc. in 1964, eventually becoming President and Chief Executive Officer in 1987. Clark Consolidated was an American Stock Exchange listed company in the business of distributing electrical parts and supplies for construction, industrial and commercial users plus the manufacturing of various industrial products for sale to original equipment manufacturers.
Rexel S.A. of Paris, France acquired controlling interest in Clark Consolidated in 1989 whereupon Bill became Vice President of Rexel Midwest and eventually retired in 1997. Since then he has done various consulting projects, was Executive Director of Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood, Ohio and Executive Director of Campus District, Inc. a community development corporation in downtown Cleveland.
Bill serves on the Advisory Counsel of Hinkley Lighting Company and Conveyer and Caster Corporation. He is member of the Board of Trustees of the Intermuseum Conservation Association.
Bill has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from DePauw University and served four years as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
