Education Specialist, Living in Cleveland Center

Doris Honsa's enthusiasm for urban issues extends beyond the classroom to extraordinary contributions to historic preservation and neighborhood development. As a volunteer in the late '70s she worked with a small group of people to save the Bradley Building from demolition. In addition to taking part in various volunteer projects, Doris has worked for Friends of Shaker Square, the Cleveland Restoration Society, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Cleveland Society for the Blind.
