Message from CPNM Director Rob Ziol:

The Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs has a national reputation of enriching the lives of the individuals and the region that are a part of our community of practice. My vision for the Center is to identify ways to create more synergy that brings the classroom to the community and the community into our classrooms. The School is developing the next generation of public sector and nonprofit leaders and the experiences that are facilitated within the School will influence our quality of life for years to come.

Whether you are an academic student that wants to explore career options in “the real world” through our mentoring or internship programs, or you are a mid-career professional that wants to develop more management or leadership skills through the Ohio Certified Public Manager® (OCPM) ProgramPublic Management AcademyLeanOhio Boot Camp, or Leadership Academy, you will find a fit within our Center.

We are currently exploring additional programming and partnerships that will expand our offerings within the public and nonprofit sectors. Working collaboratively with our students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders we plan to redefine the meaning of “engaged learning.”
