Federal Register
The Federal Register is the official daily publication for Rules, Proposed Rules, and Notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as Executive Orders and other Presidential Documents and is available daily in print or online.

Federal Web Locator
A central point from which to reach many federal websites. A Service provided by Center for Information Law and Policy.

Grants.gov
Grants.gov is the current federal portal that allows access to all grant making programs offered by all 26 federal agencies that offer grant making programs (there are over 1,000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant making agencies). In addition, Grants.gov is the portal through which  grant applications are now submitted for nearly all programs to all the 26 agencies. FedBizOpps also does submissions through Grants.gov.  Management of the Grants.gov portal is handled on the federal side by US Department of Health and Human Services.  To obtain and prepare grant applications for submission, all users need to download Pure Edge Viewer. IRS 990 Tax Reporting Forms
GuideStar
A database of over 850,000 nonprofit organizations that you can search to find information on a specific nonprofit and to view its 990 (the IRS report that details which organization received funds from the nonprofit in a given tax year.) When you go on the Guidestart site you will set up an account under "Guidestart Plus." It is free and allows you to access Guidestart information from any computer.
