Description:

The Richard Florsheim Art Fund's purpose is to address the dilemma faced by senior American artists of merit whose public recognition may have lessened, but who continue to be productive working artists. Essentially the Fund intents to assist living American artists of established reputation who are over the age of sixty. The Fund accepts applications from individual artists and from institutions.

The Fund does NOT support: Application Procedures: **If you are submitting unique or original materials as part of your application, the Fund suggests that you send a photocopy of the material rather than the original.

Deadlines:

There are two annual deadlines:
October 1st and March 1st.

All applications must be postmarked prior to midnight on one of these dates.

Selection and Reporting:

Evaluations and awards are made on the basis of eligibility and artistic or scholarly merit. Final decisions are made by the Board of Trustees within sixty days of the deadline. Upon completion of the project, recipients are required to submit a full report to the Fund, detailing records and receipts of all directly related expenses.
