Accessibility Help

Both ethical considerations and section 508 of the U.S Rehabilitation Act mandate that CSU Web pages be fully accessible to individuals with a variety of disabilities. In the Summer of 2002 CSU began a four-year program to ensure that all university Web pages, instructional and otherwise, would be fully accessible to all members of the campus community regardless of disability or impairment.

The UCTL is charged with helping members of the campus community evaluate their Web pages for accessibility, and with helping the individuals responsible for Web pages modify the content as necessary to ensure full accessibility. Upon request, we can evaluate any CSU Web page(s) and provide a detailed report on any needed modifications. While it is not our job to repair or maintain Web pages other than our own, we will happily make individual appointments to work with the various faculty and staff members responsible for pages to assist them with the task of ensuring compliance.The primary contact person for this assistance is Ms. Tina Vance
