FOR PROFIT is a vibrant solo-portrayal of the exploitation of the American college student & the 1 trillion dollar student debt crisis, told through the lens of an unwilling admission adviser at a for-profit institution.

Aaron Calafato is a performing artist and activist who creates Solo-Theater for Social Change, Co-Founder/Artistic Director of Student Debt Crisis, and a leading national voice for student debt reform. 

In addition to being accepted to the NYC Fringe Festival, FOR PROFIT has been performed over 50 times in 6 states and has been featured on Real Money with Ali Velshii, The Nation MagazineThe Huffington Post; Chronicle of Higher Education; Generation Progress; International Political Forum; NPR; (NPR) MPBN; NPR (WYSO); WEWS ABC Channel 5;; Portland Press Herald; WCPN; Washington Monthly; and the Digital Journal.
