  • HealthyVikes! 
    A Healthy Vike is a Successful Vike! Find your Healthy! This is a 1 semester student based Wellness Challenge. The challenge encourages healthy decisions and lifestyles through involvement in health and wellness related activities, programs and events.
    • The challenge begins February 12, 2018 and ends April 27, 2018
    • Earn points as an individual
    • Register by Friday, February 9th, 2018, to start earning points.
    • Once registered, you will receive periodic updates on HealthyVikes! program opportunities in addition to those listed through the HealthyVikes! Facebook group. You earn points based on the activities you are involved in.

  • Lifeshare Blood Drive  
    Donate blood through Lifeshare and get a Chipotle gift card and socks! If you are a first time donor, you will also receive a water bottle. CSU donations benefit our students and the Cleveland community. All Lifeshare donations go toward scholarships for Cleveland State Students. Last year Lifeshare provided 5-$500 scholarships. Students, pick up and complete a scholarship application at the blood drive. The more we donate, the more CSU students and our community benefit.

  • Train the trainer- Empowered Bystander facilitator training 
    Be a student who takes the lead in sexual violence prevention and safety!  With this workshop, become a student trainer and teach/lead your peers on how to address situations that need intervention.

  • Warning! This drug may kill you-campus and community forum    
    Join campus and community leaders as we explore the opioid emergency in our community. The HBO documentary, “Warning, this drug may kill you” will be viewed and followed by discussion, information and a question and answer period.

  • Sexual Health and Responsibility Week 
    Yes Means Test! Half of all new STD cases in the U.S. are in people between the ages 15-24 but fewer that 12% say they have been tested in the last year. Learn about STD’s from your peers, get tested, and enjoy a slice of pizza. Pizza is available for those who choose to be tested.

  • ALIVE! Mental Health Fair  
    Alive! Mental Health Fair is a fun, interactive and educational suicide prevention program aimed at college students. Since 2010, the fair has visited over 40 colleges so far, and each event has been a huge success! Alive! Mental Health Fair includes several on-going and time-specific exhibits. Students are excited to visit four main exhibits or stations and to be entered into a raffle which includes flash drives, t-shirts, college gear, books and other prizes.

    There are two interactive learning stations where students learn more about different mental illnesses and their symptoms and can see brain scans of each illness.  There are also two creative artistic stations where students can express their individuality and share their secrets, fears, concerns, as well as positive messages of hope. There are two educational documentaries that will be screened during the Fair.

    Lastly, there is a 1-hour suicide prevention training course in QPRQuestion Persuade and Refer, on how to ask a friend or someone you are concerned about if they are suicidal, how to persuade them to get help, where to find that help and take them there.

    Steel drum, limbo, beach balls food, mocktails! Join us for a fun, interactive evening in preparing for Spring Break. Interactive safe spring break tables including a “build your own Safe Spring Break bag” will be run by campus peer educators.
