The Mareyjoyce Green Women’s Center is happy to connect you with resources, but DOES NOT directly provide Domestic Violence Counseling services.
Support and Self-Improvement Workshops
- Women's Issues Group facilitated by the CSU Counseling Center
Maintaining Boundaries, Communication, Assertiveness, Self-Esteem, Resilience, Relationships, and more. A pre-screening appointment is required and can be scheduled by calling the CSU Counseling Center at 216.687.2277. See calendar of events for time/dates.
- Food Pantry
The Women’s Center maintains a small food pantry to assist students and staff of the CSU community in a time of need. The pantry is stocked through donations from the CSU community including staff, faculty, & students. Non-perishable donations always accepted. Please contact us if you need more information or call the Food Pantry Hotline at the Greater Cleveland Foodbank to get connected with a food pantry in your area (216) 738-2067.
- Benefits and Resources
The Women’s Center is connected with a volunteer Ohio Benefit Bank Counselor who can assist you in applying for, or retaining information regarding programs such as SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, and other community resources. Please contact Emily Forsee at email@example.com to make an appointment.
- Mother's Room
The Mareyjoyce Green Women's Center offers a safe and secure Mothers' Room. We encourage nursing mothers to visit the Women’s Center in MC 142 and sign up for a private access code to the Mother’s Room, located on the first floor of the business building!
