Support our Students

Great universities attract great students, at least in part, because they are true living and learning communities. For CSU’s 16,000 students, the new Student Center will create a thriving and energetic downtown neighborhood while boosting Viking pride. The building is intended to be a leader in environmental design, while offering places for students to eat, meet, study and relax. For students like Ramona and Kristen, the Student Center will be a home away from home.

Ramona is a senior at Cleveland State, while Kristen is a freshman. Both chose CSU for a great education and they exemplify the bright and highly motivated students on our campus. Both hold scholarships and would be unable to pursue their degrees without financial support from generous donors. Click here to learn more about Ramona and Kristen.

Like Ramona and Kristen, thousands of students each year need your help. Four undergraduate credit hours at CSU cost $1,366. Books for an entire semester cost nearly $500, and a single book can cost as much as $100. These are very real expenses that many students struggle with. Your gift will make a difference in a student’s life – a student like Ramona or Kristen. Your support for scholarships or for the programs, services and activities that will be housed in the Student Center will help shape the campus experience for current and future students – just as the Center itself will.

As a special thank you, scholarship gifts of $250 or more will be recognized on a Donor Wall in the Student Center. Your name, prominently displayed, will be part of this great facility and seen every day by the students you are helping. We hope you will visit the Student Center and see for yourself the exceptional students that call CSU their home.
