Instructional Programs

Fall Session:

Belly Dance (10 weeks):

Do you want to be exotic and elusive? Learn basic moves, postures, and the cultural significance of the ancient art of belly dance. No previous experience necessary. Great workout for all shapes and sizes.

Boxing Circuit (10 weeks):

Train like a boxer.

Swing Dance (10 weeks):

People are Swing Dancin’ all over Cleveland. This intro class will teach you the basics of swing dance. No experience or partner required!

Policies and Procedures

 

  • Spinning passes can be purchased at the Welcome Desk.
  • Participant must check-in at Welcome Desk prior to each class.
  • There are no guaranteed refunds for lost or stolen passes. Participants who lose their passes should contact the Associate Director of Programs.
  • Maximum enrollment for each class depends on type and /or level of instruction. A maximum will be set in order to provide the safest environment possible. Once maximum number of participants have registered, registration will be closed.
  • Non-members and youth will receive their program pass on the day of registration. All phone registrations will pick up passes on the first day at the Welcome Desk.
  • All participants present picture ID and pass when entering each class session. Sharing a pass is prohibited.
  • Participants will not be given access after 10 minutes into the program.
  • Campus Recreation Services reserves the right to adjust the schedule, class formats and instructors when necessary. Abbreviated schedules of classes may be offered during holidays and breaks.
  • Participants should consultant with a physician prior to starting a new fitness program or activity.
  • Participants must be 16 years or older to participate in the program. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • First time participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time.
  • All participants are encouraged to bring water to class.
  • All tension must be removed from bikes prior to exiting bike.
