Boxing Instructional


Tuesdays
6:15-7:15
Starts January 14, 2014

Jab cross, hook, and uppercut your way to a slimmer, sleeker body. This class focuses on teaching traditional boxing skills and drills both on and off the bags. Participants will incorporate strength training, cardio, and plyometrics into their workout. All levels are welcome and new skills are added each week. (Maximum class size:10) HAND WRAPS ARE REQUIRED.

Beyond The Basics

Learn about the different types of yoga, practice how to do different asanas (postures) safely, sun salutations, and how to put together a basic sequence of postures. (Maximum class size:12)

Yoga for Athletics
October 17, 2013
5:30-7:30

Learn the poses that work best with specific sports, how to incorporate yoga into a sport warm-up, and asanas for team sports; practice different poses throughout the class. (Maximum class size:12)

Balance and Meditation
November 14, 2013
5:30-7:30

Learn and practice techniques to work on different balancing positions. Learn and practice multiple meditation techniques that can help increase balance. (Maximum class size:12)
