Group X Classes - FREE, Drop in Classes
When you cannot fathom hopping on the treadmill anymore, come try one of our many free group fitness classes. We promise a great workout and the opportunity to mingle with people who share your same goals.

Cardio Sculpt – 45 minutes
45-minutes of cardiovascular and toning exercises using steps, bosu’s, bands, body bars, weights, and balls. A perfect all-around workout!
Abs – 15 minutes or 30 minutes
A jam-packed 15 or 30 minute class that focuses on your core.
Total Toning – 45 minutes
Achieve that sleek, toned look you have always wanted with this class. This 45-minute session will have your muscles sculpted in no time!
Bi’s & Tri’s – 45 minutes
You want to focus on toning up arms specifically? This class is designed to give you the ripped toned looked everyone wants.
Tai Chi & Martial Arts – 60 minutes
The Dragon system is a style of Kung Fu, a more rigorous form of practice conditioning and strengthening techniques with self defense and the Okinawa Karate system of Isshin-Ryu a belt ranked self defense system. Classes vary by week.
Aqua Shallow – 45 minutes
Get ready to take the plunge. This class will get your heart pumping while using the resistive properties of water to kick your cardio up a notch! Swimming skills not required.
Aqua Deep – 45 minutes
Challenge you water workout by taking it to the deep. Less tension on the joints with more resistance. Jogging belts provided.
CSU90x Plyo – 45 minutes
An intense class that incorporates power and agility drills; perfect for participants looking to improve their speed and coordination through high-impact, plyometric exercises. **NOTE: This class uses high impact exercises that involve jumping. May not be suitable for all populations.
Aqua Inclusive – 60 minutes
A basic movement class that is accepting and accommodating for individuals of every ability. The class will provide individualized levels of intensity so each participant can get the workout that is desired!
Premium Classes (Pass Required)
158 - 45 minutes
Short but intense class that focuses on functional training, core, and endurance. Formats vary by instructor but most classes will include TR-X suspension training, Kettlebells, Plyo moves, and more! Now located in our new 158 Performance studio, come see how you can take your fitness to a whole new level.
SPINNING®
Spinning® - 45 and 60 minutes
One of the hottest classes in the industry right now! These non-impact, calorie-blasting classes continue to be our most popular ones every year. We offer 60 and 90 minute rides each week that are set to upbeat, funky music designed to push you to excel.
Mind/Body
Lunch Yoga – 45 minutes
Learn the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga. The focus will be on beginner to advanced level yoga poses and breathing techniques to increase mind and body awareness. All Yoga levels are welcome.
Yoga – 60 minutes
From beginner to advanced, this class will help participants progress in their current yoga practice. Some experienced recommended, but not required. All levels are welcome!
Dance
Zumba® – 60 minutes
One of the hottest classes to take right now! Join the party with this fun class that uses simple Latin-inspired dance steps to work your core and tone your body...all while having a blast!
Hip Hop – 60 minutes
Come join us for an hour long upbeat dance class. You will learn how to move and shake with a new routine to show off your dancing skills. You will have fun while sweating off the pounds.
Instructional Classes (Registration Required)
Boxing Circuit - 60 minutes
One of the hottest classes at the Rec! Learn how to punch, kick, and jab your way through a great circuit workout.
Kenpo Karate - 90 minutes
Combining self defense moves and the best that martial arts has to offer. Learn poses and ways to defend yourself with this ancient art.
Belly Dance - 60 minutes
Shimmy and shake your way to a strong core and improved self-image. This course is open to all fitness levels!
F.I.T. Courses - 120 minutes
Learn how to get certified in Group Fitness or Personal Training. Open to CSU students only.
