Group Learn to Swim

Swim lessons are taught according to the American Red Cross standards. Instructors are experienced and certified Water Safety instructors. Ratio of student to instructor is kept low for optimum learning.

NOTE: If a student is not able to perform skills for the previous level on the first day of class they will be moved to a more appropriate level which may be held at a different time.

POLICY AND PROCEDURE

  • Children will be evaluated on skill during the first class to ensure proper level placement.
  • Children with long hair must wear swim cap or have hair tied back.
  • Children must bring towel and swim suit to each class. Gym short or T-shirt over suit are not acceptable.
  • Parents must stay in the Natatorium during the program. Parents will not get into the pool during lessons.
  • Missed lesson by participants will not be made up.
  • Participants will not be able to join class if they are more than 10 minutes late.
