Alumni

Alumni are defined as individuals that have graduated from CSU. Proof of graduation is required.

Spouse/Partner/Dependant

Spouse, partner or dependant of faculty/staff may purchase a membership at a matching rate (student spouse/partner/ dependant at off semester rate); marriage license is required. Partners are defined as individuals who are of the same gender, who share a regular and permanent residence, have a committed personal relationship, can demonstrate financial interdependence, and who are not legally married or in another domestic partnership. Same sex domestic partners of faculty, administrators and staff must complete an “Affidavit of Domestic Partnership” from the University.

Eligibility

Graduated alumni of Cleveland University may purchase a membership to the Recreation Center. Payment options include electronic fund transfer, credit card, or check. A one or four month membership must be paid in full at time of joining. The initiation fee is due in full at time of joining.

Sponsored Eligibility

Active Recreation Center members may “sponsor” up to two additional individual memberships (beyond spouse/partner/dependents) to the Cleveland State Recreation Center. No affiliation with Cleveland State is needed for the sponsored individual(s). These sponsored individuals are only eligible to purchase the membership that corresponds with their sponsor’s category or a lesser duration. For example, a person with a 4-month membership may only sponsor a 4-month or 1-month membership.
