Alumni and sponsored patrons of Cleveland State University are eligible to purchase a Recreation Center membership at a discounted rate.

Alumni must be able to provide documentation of graduation from Cleveland State University upon request.  Spouses, domestic partners, and dependants of alumni/sponsored patrons are eligible to receive the same discounted rate.

Active and dues paying members of the Recreation Center may sponsor an unlimited number of additional individuals to join the Recreation Center at the discounted sponsored rate.  A sponsored member cannot sponsor another individual to join the Recreation Center at the discounted sponsored rate.

The alumni/sponsored membership also includes a non-prime option.  This option is perfect for the early bird or weekend warrior.  Non-prime alumni/sponsored patrons can access the facility during the following times:

An alumni/sponsored membership will incur a one-time $50.00 initiation charge covering administrative fees and a recreation card.  The initiation fee is waived three times per year during our special promotions of New Year, New You (January); Spring Forward (May) and; Fall into Fitness (September).

• Monday through Thursday – 5:45am until 9:00am and 8:00pm until 11:00pm
• Friday – 5:45am until 9:00am and 6:00pm until 9:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday – 9:00am until 6:00pm

Summer Semester & Break Hours

• Monday through Thursday – 5:45am until 9:00am and 6:00pm until 9:00pm
• Friday – 5:45am until 9:00am and 5:00pm until 8:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday – 9:00am until 6:00pm

The Cleveland State University Recreation Center accepts the following forms of payment:

• Check (must provide state issued identification)
• Viking Cash (on-line debit account through Viking Card)
• Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard)
• Electronic Funds Transfer (transfer of funds via checking/savings account or credit card)
• Payroll Deduction (full-time faculty/staff only)

The Recreation Center offers memberships on a month-to-month basis. Memberships can be purchased as a recurring payroll deduction, Electronic Funds Transfer, or purchased in full through monthly increments.
