Scott Westhoven never imagined that he would end up in Campus Recreation. Scott studied Fine Arts during his undergraduate career and worked as a lifeguard on the side. Eventually he began to attend NIRSA conferences and realized that Campus Recreation could become a potential career. As he was preparing to move back to Ohio, he met Greg Ross, the director of the CSU Recreation Center, at a conference and Greg invited Scott to apply for a swim coordinator position at the Recreation Center. Now working as the Marketing and Technology Coordinator, Scott's favorite part of his job is exploring various marketing techniques and working alongside students. He hopes to establish a clear identity of Campus Recreation at CSU and wants to continue to create quality marketing campaigns. In his free time Scott enjoys photography, playing water polo, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
