Greg Ross has been at the Rec Center since its grand opening. He transferred from Kent in 2006 to work as Director of the Rec Center. Under his leadership the Rec has increased its attendance each year and expanded its equipment and program offerings. He hopes to continue to meet the needs of CSU students and grow the facility every year. When he's not in his office, Greg can be seen shooting hoops on one of the basketball courts or cheering on the Buckeyes, Indians and Browns.
Nick Froelich

Nick Froelich is quite familiar with recreation services it's given him the opportunity to travel around the country and develop his skills in various jobs. But when an opportunity arose in Cleveland, he took it as a chance to come back home to Ohio. Nick currently works as the Associate Director of Facilities and Operations at the Rec Center. The position allows him to work on a college campus and interact with students on a daily basis. When he's not at work, you can find Nick rooting on Cleveland sport teams, traveling or playing golf.
Kim Rottet

Kim Rottet is in her third year in Ohio and the Rec Center. Kim has worked in a variety of recreation service positions around the country, and is currently the Associate Director of Programs at the Rec. Her favorite part of her job is being able to teach students and watch them learn outside of the classroom. When she's not at work, she enjoys reading and learning to be a skilled cook. Even though she's allergic to almost everything outdoors, Kim also enjoys hiking, bike riding and being outside as much as possible.
Joe Stolitza

Joe Stolitza has been working at the Rec Center almost since its opening. He was hired as Business Manager six months after the facility opened. Joe a.k.a. Joe Money handles all the financial and human resources aspects of the Rec. He enjoys working on the variety of tasks his job brings and hopes to put in place solid business practices to meet the changing dynamics of the Rec. One of his favorite parts of working here is watching how the Rec constantly updates itself and keeps up with current fitness and wellness trends. Joe enjoys golfing and cycling in his spare time.
Michelle Rieger

Michelle Rieger is a brand-new addition to the Rec Center team. As Aquatics Coordinator, she is responsible for improving and maintaining the pool and its programs. In her time with the Rec Center she hopes to increase the number of community members and students enrolled in aquatics programs. In addition, she's working on improving the aesthetics of the pool area to be a better representation of the Rec Center and CSU. Fittingly enough, her favorite activities include traveling anywhere warm with plenty of wet to do watersports such as paddleboarding, waterskiing and scuba.
Katie Robinson

Katie Robinson has worked her way up at the Rec Center. After starting as a marketing intern in 2009, she became a Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Special Events, then worked her way up to a full-time position as Member and Guest Services Coordinator. She loves working with her student staff and watching them grow and develop in their various positions. She hopes to continue to improve training programs and create a strong staff dynamic. As a certified volleyball official, Katie enjoys competing in her sand volleyball league in her spare time, along with taking yoga classes and working out.
Mike Weaver

When the position of Facilities Coordinator opened up at the Rec Center, Mike Weaver pounced on the opportunity. After working as Graduate Supervisor of Facilities for two years, he was excited to move up into this position. His goal is to expand the Adventure Rec program by creating more trips, as well as possibly one day getting a rock wall built inside the Rec. When he's not at the office, Mike is active in a variety of sports and bowls competitively
Matt Schmiedl

After graduating from Cleveland State with a Bachelor's degree in graphic design in 2006, he started work at Penton Media in Downtown Cleveland doing graphic design for the Buyers Guides division. In October of 2008, he moved to Meister Media Worldwide in Willoughby, OH, continuing with graphic design and marketing. Following a nearly five-year tenure with Meister, Matt joined the Rec Center in August 2013. In addition to putting his creativity to use in his work, Matt loves to write and record his own music, cooking and painting in his free time.
Jason Mandula

Jason Mandula began his career at the Recreation Center as a Rec Attendant. During his two years here, he quickly moved up into a Membership Representative position and now works as the Graduate Supervisor of Marketing & Membership. His favorite part of his job is interacting with patrons and getting to know them on a personal level. Jason's goal is to improve inventory in the Pro Shop to cater to patrons' needs, as well as streamline processes at the front desk for members. He views the Recreation Center as an open and cohesive environment that allows all the employees to work together. Jason is an avid cook and also enjoys playing cards, reading and participating in sports.
Brian Boesch

Brian Boesch is one of the first people to arrive at the Recreation Center every morning. As Building Maintenance Manager, Brian arrives before sunrise to ensure the facility is up and running before it opens each day. With more than 30 years experience in the maintenance industry, Brian is very skilled at his job. His favorite part of working at the Recreation Center is working with the young student staff. He enjoys training and teaching the staff new things that they may not learn elsewhere. Brian believes the facility has a progressed a lot in the past two years, and he would like to see the Recreation Center continue to bring in good quality staff members who are eager to learn and work. Brian also works for the Lake Erie Monsters and attends many hockey games in his spare time.
Andrew Morreale

Andrew Morreale has been involved with Campus Recreation since his freshman year of college. Originally from Michigan, Andrew completed his Bachelor's at Wayne State University in the heart of Detroit. He was heavily involved with the Men's club rugby team, and began leading the Outdoor Adventure program his Junior year. Now currently working as the Graduate Assistant of Adventure Recreation at CSU, Andrew spends much of his time looking for new ways to promote this young program. When he has the time, Andrew enjoys playing intramural sports, reading, and planning his next adventure.
Rachel Hartman

Rachel Hartman is no stranger to Campus Recreation. Originally from Atlanta, Rachel spent three years at Mercer University then transferred her senior year to Georgia State University where she became involved with intramurals. Rachel realized that she wanted to make a career out of Campus Recreation, and was soon offered a job at the CSU Recreation Center. Working as the Graduate Supervisor of Competitive Sports and Camps, she hopes to get sports clubs permanent funding and set a higher level of expectation for intramurals. Rachel's favorite part of her job is working with students every day and seeing her work make an immediate impact on them. She views the Recreation Center as her "home away from home" and likes that it's a tight-knit community. When she's not working, Rachel plays on the Rec's club volleyball team and sings for the CSU Chorus.
Amy Breslin

Amy Breslin is an Office Manager at the Recreation Center. Amy began working at the Recreation Center in 2012 as a Swim Instructor. Although she now works in the office, Amy is still very passionate about the Learn to Swim program and hopes to increase enrollment and retention rates for the program. Amy received a bachelor's degree in Biology from Ashland University, but decided to make a switch to Campus Recreation. She believes the CSU Recreation Center is one of the best-managed facilities in the area, and she enjoys working alongside all her co-workers. Amy is a new mother and spends a majority of her time with her family. When she gets a few moments of free time, she enjoys photography and scuba diving.
