Parking and Transportation is pleased to offer Pre Paid Scratch Off hangtags as an option for parking patrons that do not wish to purchase a full semester hangtag. Scratch Off Hangtags may be purchased by Students, Faculty and Staff in the Parking Office. Scratch Offs are designated Green ($8 each) and White ($6 each) and there is a limit of 32 available per person and a maximum of 32 fall and spring semester, 24 during Summer semester. Purchase only the number of hangtags you need for the days you will be on campus during the semester and then “scratch off” the month and the day on the day you are parking. They are recommended for parking patrons who come to campus once in a while.

Green Scratch Offs are valid in the designated Green hangtag parking facilities EXCEPT for South and Prospect Garages, Lot 22 and Meters. White Scratch Offs are valid in the designated White hangtag facilities EXCEPT for South and Prospect Garages, Lot 22 and Meters. They may be used in conjunction with a State Issued Disabled Placard to park in designated disabled spaces on campus.

Scratch Offs must be purchased in the Parking Office (E. 24th and Euclid). There is a limit of six (6) available per person per day and a maximum of 32 per fall and spring semesters, 24 during summer semester. Purchase only the number of hangtags you need for the days you will be on campus during the semester (one scratch off = one day of parking).

USING A SCRATCH OFF HANGTAG
The Scratch Off hangtag must have the day and month (and year if applicable) completely scratched off to clearly show the numbers underneath. Partially or incomplete scratched hangtags may result in a citation.

The Hangtag must be displayed from the rear view mirror of the vehicle.

They are only valid for a single day of parking and do provide in and out privileges on that single day.

Weekend Scratch Offs
Weekend Scratch Offs are only valid for use on Fridays after 5pm and all day Saturday and/or Sunday. Weekend Scratch Off Hangtags provide a single day of parking privileges in any lot or garage on campus EXCEPT Lot 22, South Garage, Prospect Garage and meters.

Weekend Scratch Offs are valid from Friday from 5pm to 11:59 pm; Saturday from 5am to 11:59pm; and Sunday from 5am to 11:59 pm.  Weekend Only Scratch Off hangtags cost $8.00 each and do not provide overnight privileges.  Payment methods are cash, check or Visa/MC.  They expire at the end of each semester.

Scratch Off hangtags are eligible for refund to the original owner for the original price. Scratch off hangtags must be returned 30 days prior to the expiration date for a full refund.
