Motorcycle/Bicycle Parking

Motorcycles

NEW! Dedicated motorcycle parking spaces are now available in Lot 61, the alley between CG and MC as well as drive path to WG from E. 18th Street. These spaces will be available on a first come basis at no charge until May 16. Effective May 17 (summer semester), a new motorcycle parking policy will be in effect. Details will be available starting April 30. Please note that parking outside of these dedicated spaces going forward will not be tolerated.

Motorcycles do not require parking hangtags on the CSU campus. As such, motorcycles are not permitted to park in regular vehicle spaces. There are currently only four designated parking spaces on campus for motorcycle parking (in the Recreation Center Garage). Please note the specially marked spaces in this area for motorcycle parking. Motorcycle parking on the CSU Main Campus is restricted as follows:

  • Motorcycles cannot be parked in the pedestrian or vehicle right of way - no parking on sidewalks.
  • Motorcycles cannot be parked in such a way as to obstruct vehicular entrances, exits, ramps, or breezeways.
  • Motorcycles must adhere to laws regulating the operation of vehicles.
  • Motorcycles are not permitted to park in a bicycle space.
  • The University assumes no responsibility for the care and protection of motorcycles while on campus.
