A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all prorated refund amounts.
In order to control the use of CSU owned and operated parking spaces, only current students and employees are permitted to use CSU Prepaid hangtags to park on campus. Individuals who are not enrolled or employed by CSU and found parking on campus using a prepaid hangtag will have the hangtag confiscated and will not be eligible for any refund. These individuals may also be subject to fines.
No refund request will be granted unless all outstanding fines and fees are paid in full. Student refunds will be posted to the Student’s account.
Scratch off hangtags are eligible for refund to the original owner for the original price. Scratch off hangtags must be returned 30 days prior to the expiration date for a full refund.
Prorated refund amounts will be based on both the purchase amount and the week in which the prepaid hangtag is returned. (A week is defined as beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. The week will be established on the Sunday of that week regardless of the actual day of the week the returned hangtag is received.) The $10 adminstrative fee on hangtag refunds will be suspended for Fall 2012.
Refunds requested by Friday of the 2nd week of classes will be refunded at 100% of the purchase amount and will not require proof of a change in status.
Refunds requested after the Friday of the 2nd week of classes will be prorated based on the purchase amount and the date the hangtag is returned.
Refund requests that are made after the last day to withdraw from classes each semester will need to be accompanied by proof of a change in student or employment status. The refund amount will be prorated based on the purchase amount and the date the hangtag is returned.
Refunds requested within two weeks of the effective date will be refunded at 100% of the purchase amount and will not require proof of a change in status.
Refund requests made after the 2-week grace period must be accompanied by proof of a change in employment status. For Annual Hangtags that were paid in full, the refund amount will be prorated based on the purchase amount and the date the hangtag is returned. For Annual Hangtags being purchased by Payroll Deduction, proof of change of employment status will be required in order for Payroll Deductions to be halted.
