Real Age and You: The Cleveland Clinic Experience on
Controlling Your Genes and What it Means for You.

This presentation will cover how people can take charge of
their own health by implementing a few simple guidelines.

A growing body of literature emphasizes the link between health, well-being, and engagement in meaningful creative activities. Such activities provide an opportunity for individuals to maintain their identities, enhance self-esteem, manage stress, and regain strength and mobility subsequent to disabling illness (c.f. Bissell & Mallioux, 1981; Mee, Sumison, & Craik, 2004; Reynolds, 2003; Reynolds & Prior, 2003; among many others).
