This is a scholarship for one physics major student each semester who has financial need. The scholarship is renewable. The scholarship is for $2500 per semester. The scholarship requires the student to have a GPA of at least 3.00 prior to the semester they receive the scholarship.
To apply for the scholarship a student needs to submit a 250 word essay explaining the financial need, which will be verified with the Financial Aid Office for eligibility and suitability (in case of other aid the student may receive).
The application essay should be sent to Undergraduate Program director, currently Dr. Borisov email@example.com, as a pdf file attachment in an email with subject line "November Physics Scholarship application". The deadline for the Fall 2017 application is May 5, 2017.
