Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that Fred Smith has agreed to serve as Interim Chair of the Psychology Department for the coming year. I appreciate his willingness to take this on, and am sure that he will do an outstanding job of helping the department move forward.

As you know, David Grilly retired at the end of June. I greatly appreciate his efforts as chair, and am sure you join me in wishing him happiness in his new activities.
