Objectives:
This symposium is to inaugurate and highlight the newly approved Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) program in the Department of Chemistry at Cleveland State University. On this occasion, we want to initiate an annual forum where pharmaceutical scientists in the Greater Cleveland Area can share their latest research developments in a cordial, collaborative, and engaging environment. The symposium is intended to foster local collaborations among individuals from academia and pharmaceutical industry who are interested in drug discovery and development, and pharmaceutical research and production, as well as clinical investigation of developmental new drugs. Furthermore, the symposium will provide a forum for exchanging ideas for pharmaceutical sciences education, job training, and job postings for students and investigators.
