Cleveland Clinic is pleased to announce its Conference for Aspiring Black and Hispanic Physicians & Research Scientist to be held on April 17, 2008, and to announce this call for abstracts/papers. We invite junior and senior college students majoring in math, science or pre-med to submit abstracts for consideration as posters.
This conference, to be held at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, will provide a forum for college student to showcase their research to a network of Black Academic Surgeons, as well as their peers.
This conference is the college component of The MD Project, an initiative of the Office of Diversity designed to increase representation of African American and Hispanic physicians and scientists at Cleveland Clinic. The conference is wide-ranging and multi-faceted in its scope; therefore interested students are strongly urged to submit papers which deal with all topics relating to the sciences.
