Assistantships and/or tuition waivers are generally awarded to first year graduate students. Get your application in as early as possible to be eligible for greater variety of assistantships. The availability of assistantships and tuition waivers is dependent on State and University funding each fiscal year.
Funding for second year students is limited to competitive assistantships and work on faculty grant awards, when available. Several fieldwork placement sites provide a stipend or hourly wage for diversity work completed for this training experience.
