Requirements for Psi Chi membership at CSU:
  • Completion of at least 3 semesters of college courses.
  • Completion of 9 semester hours of psychology courses.
  • Registration for major or minor standings in psychology.
  • Undergraduates who are elected to Psi Chi must rank in the upper 35% of their class in general scholarship and have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. 
  • For graduate students, an average grade of "B" or better in all courses, including psychology.
  • High standards of personal behavior.
  • Two-thirds affirmative vote of those present at a regular meeting of the chapter.
If you are interested in joining Psi Chi, membership applications can be picked up outside of the Psi Chi office in CB 179.  Return completed applications to the office.  If no one is in the office, just slide it under the door.
Both the top and bottom registration cards on the last page of the application packet must be filled out.  There is a one time membership fee of $50.00.  Once you are inducted into Psi Chi, you are a member for life.
