Before receiving the PsyS degree, each student must present a portfolio of work demonstrating attainment of the competencies required for the practice of School Psychology. The portfolio must include a case study exemplifying the process of behavioral consultation for an academic or behavior problem exhibited by a school-aged child.
Eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist by the Ohio State Board of Education and the Ohio State Board of Psychology require a passing score on the Praxis II Exam, which must be completed before the end of the internship year.
