Psychology Department/ Diversity Management Program

M.A. Program Admissions Information

This 40 credit Masters Degree is especially geared to the needs of mid-career adult learners.  Combining classroom instruction and practical application, participants learn the essentials of group dynamics, group facilitation techniques, organizational assessment and skills as a change agent.  The program leads to certification as a Diversity Professional (CDP).

Scholar-Practitioners!

This program is also for young adults interested in an academic career in diversity, inclusion, organizational effectiveness and cultural competence.  Help us advance the field of organizational leadership!

The Diversity Management Program is a 21 month program beginning every Fall semester. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Limited graduate assistantships  are available and applicants should apply early to be considered.

 Degree Requirements

Students earn 40 credit hours in specially designed courses delivered in a cohort-based learning community. Exit requirements include a field practicum, and one of three exit options (comprehensive exam, action research project or thesis). Program participants also receive leadership coaching in the first year of the program.
