Assistantships and/or tuition waivers are generally awarded to first year graduate students. The availability of assistantships and tuition waivers is dependent on State and University funding each fiscal year.

Funding for second year students is limited to competitive assistantships and work on faculty grant awards, when available. Several fieldwork placement sites provide a stipend or hourly wage for work completed for this training experience.
