Prior to the beginning of the second year of graduate school, a student may apply for a clinical assignment in an off-campus facility. These facilities are generally in medical settings serving the adult population. In order to be assigned to an off-campus site, a student must have completed specified courses and accumulated a minimum number of supervised clinical hours in the on-campus clinic. In addition, the student must be clinically prepare to meet the challenges of the fast-paced, medical environment.
There are several off-campus sites which are administered by the Cleveland State University Clinical Supervisors. First year graduate students may be assigned to one of these sites as they are considered to be an extension of the campus clinic.
