Your textbooks can be purchased online through our bookstore by visiting the CSU Bookstore. You can purchase new and used textbooks online and the Bookstore will either ship the books to your home or hold them for pick-up in the store. RECOMMENDED READINGS AND BOOKS FOR RESEARCH
The ease and costs of obtaining books that are not required as textbooks will depend on your location and the services available to you locally. Currently few books are available at no cost over the Internet. CSU's library may be able to lend you books at no cost if you are a resident of the State of Ohio and live close to an OhioLINK member library. Many public libraries can obtain books for you at no or little cost through interlibrary loan services. In the U.S. most public university libraries will provide services free of charge to residents of that state.
You are encouraged to call, visit or explore library web sites in your locality as soon as you have decided to enroll in a course. It may take you some time to find the library services you will need, and it may take weeks to obtain books through interlibrary loan services. You are strongly advised not to wait until you need books for your research to begin looking for those materials. Of course, most of the books you might need will probably be in print and you may purchase them through bookstores, publishers or online vendors.
The CSU Library offers a variety of services to online students.
