Teacher Licensure based on Degree Programs in the Department of BGES

The Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences works with the CSU College of Education to assist pre-service and in-service teachers to obtain licensure in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Comprehensive Science licensure. Students interested in licensure in these areas and who are majoring in programs of the BGES Department may obtain information on the details of licensure from the College of Education; a specific list of degree requirements is available for majors in Biology. Students seeking licensure in these areas who are not majoring in programs of the department should consult the College of Education for details on the requirements for licensure.
