Exercise Tutor

Short Description A system for in-home therapeutic exercise guidance.
Abstract Exercise Tutor is a programmable device that integrates inertial sensors and Kinect motion cameras to remotely monitor exercise. It will be programmed for each patient by the physical therapist (or other health care professional) with an individualized home exercise program that can be easily updated as required. The device will individualize exercise prescription, monitor correct adherence to that program, and provide detailed, real time feedback to the exerciser on correct exercise performance.
