Priority registration begins on Monday, March 18, 2024 through Sunday, May 12, 2024. Open Enrollment will commence on Monday, May 13, 2024 for the Fall 2024 semester. Priority registration can only be conducted with a valid online registration appointment. Registration appointments are assigned by the Office of the University Registrar based upon cumulative earned hours and degree-seeking status as of Friday, March 1, 2024 and are viewable via CampusNet.

Appointments are assigned in priority-order over a 5 week period to degree-seeking students. The assignment is based on the students earned hours at the time appointments are assigned. Appointment times are not assigned over weekends. The student registration appointment will permit registration for all terms in the Academic Year in which the student is eligible. The order in which priority is assigned is provided below. Within each group, priority is further defined by earned hours, giving students in the same group priority based upon more earned hours. The appointment time will be displayed on the Personal tab in CampusNet.

Add/Late Add

Adding classes can be done through CampusNet through the first week of the term. All subsequent adding must be done with the appropriate late add form and must have confirmation of payment from the Bursar's Office. Please follow all directions and deadlines stated on the appropriate late add form.

Drop/Withdrawal

Dropping/Withdrawing from classes can be done via CampusNet through the established deadline reflected in the academic calendar. Non-attendance does NOT constitute an official withdrawal from classes. Questions regarding the refund schedule for classes can be directed to the Bursar's Office at (216) 687-3615.

Medical Withdrawal

Students seeking a medical withdrawal from the university are strongly encouraged to consult with their college advising office before making any registration changes. Once they have withdrawn from classes, students need to consult with the Bursar's Office.

Military Withdrawal

Students who are called to active military duty have two options for their class work. Students may:

  1. Withdraw ("W") from ALL courses with a full refund of all tuition and fees; or
  2. Take an Incomplete ("I") for ALL courses with the understanding that the "I" would be extended until the student has had an opportunity to finish class requirements following his/her return to school after the completion of active duty status.

For either option, "W" and "I" grades will not negatively impact a student's academic standing. Prior to deployment, affected students need to present an official copy of the military orders to the Office of the University Registrar (BH 116) and to their instructors. The Office of the University Registrar will provide copies of the orders to the Bursar's Office and Financial Aid Office. All questions about financial aid implications can be directed to the Financial Aid Office at (216) 687-3764.
