Cleveland State University provides the Federal
Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with monthly statistical information for the
Uniform Crime Reporting Program (UCR). This information is provided as
part of Cleveland State University's commitment to a safe and informed
campus community and it is in compliance with the Federal Crime Awareness
and Campus Security Act of 1990, renamed the Jeanne Clery Act in October,
1998, and Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act.
The following figures reflect
certain crimes reported on the campus of CSU. These statistics do not include
crimes reported on public property and the Sig Tau and TKE fraternity houses.
Information through 2002 does not include property owned by CSU in the city of
Shaker Heights, in the jungle of Belize, Guatemala, and property leased in Westlake
and Solon. Starting in 2003, these locations are included in the
information below.
