These manuscripts were chosen from among 658 manuscripts entered in the 2007 contest by 625 poets. We congratulate these poets for their accomplishments and thank all of the poets who let us consider their work this year. As ever, there were many fine manuscripts.

The prize winning manuscripts will be published in 2008. The collection of poems, To See the Earth, by Philip Metres of University Heights, Ohio, was published February, 2008 as part of the Center’s imagination series.
Horse Dance Underwater, by Helena Mesa of Ann Arbor, Michigan, will be released in the fall of 2008.
