The Center for Faculty Excellence will present this Part -Time Faculty Professional Development Day on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. The event will be held at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center, located at 2000 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
This half day of professional development will include a variety of sessions on topics that include:
· Supporting Students Using Starfish
· Tutoring for Academic Success
· Information Literacy and Library Resources for Faculty
· Blackboard Tips for Teaching Blended and Online Classes
· Writing Center Resources for Faculty
· Making the Most of In-Classroom Technology
· Legal and Compliance Issues for Part-Time Faculty
· Engaging All Students in Learning Using Classroom Responses Systems
Part-time faculty can receive a $50 stipend for attending and free parking.
We encourage you to bring a laptop, or other mobile device for use in the breakout sessions.
