Mission Statement
The mission of Parking Services is to provide accessible, convenient parking for all members of the campus community and guests given the constraint imposed by available space and demand
If any motor vehicle found on University property is in violation of traffic laws or rules of the State Of Ohio or of the University, the citation will be issued to the member of the University community to whom the car is registered in Parking Services. If the vehicle is not registered with the University, the citation will be written in the name of the member of the University community listed at the address of the individual who, according to the State Of Ohio, is the registered owner.
STATEMENT OF INTENT AND PURPOSE
Motor vehicle, traffic and parking rules of Cleveland State University are enacted by the Board of Trustees to facilitate the work of faculty, staff, students, visitors and other persons so that law and order are maintained to enable the University to pursue its educational objectives and programs in an orderly manner. The use of the lands and property of Cleveland State University are governed by the Board of Trustees in Chapter 3344 of the Ohio Revised Code. These motor vehicle, traffic and parking rules are adopted pursuant to the direction and authority contained in Section 3345.21 of the Ohio Revised Code. The motor vehicle laws of the State of Ohio as set forth in Title 45 of the Ohio Revised Code and the ordinances of the City of Cleveland as set out in Part 4 of the codified Ordinances of the City of Cleveland, Ohio are appicable and enforceable upon the lands and property of Cleveland State University. Except where specifically modified herein, all applicable provisions of Title 45 of the Ohio Revised Code and Part 4 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Cleveland will be enforced on the land and property of Cleveland State University at all times.
