WHAT TO EXPECTOrientation is your first step to becoming an official Cleveland State student. Orientation is a one day required program for all incoming freshmen at Cleveland State. There is a $60 Orientation fee for each student and a $30 program fee for each family member attending. During Orientation, you will be broken down into small groups led by your Orientation Leader (an outstanding upper class student that was once in your shoes). Your Orientation Leader will help you meet other new students, learn all about Cleveland State, and make sure you're ready for your first semester of classes at Cleveland State. In order to get everything done, Orientation programs are one-day programs that begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. You must be present the entire time to take your placement tests and register for courses.
