Policy on Satellite Course Offerings
Approved by Faculty Senate on May 7, 2003

Teaching at a satellite campus is optional for full-time faculty.

Although it is expected that no faculty member will be pressured against his/her will to accept a satellite assignment, we also know that maintaining the academic integrity of courses that are taught away from the main campus will require approximately the same ratio of credit hours as taught by full-time and part-time faculty in a college, on the main campus.

Any new courses to be offered in satellite locations must undergo the same approval process as central campus courses.
