You can make payments online with a credit card or electronic check. Credit card payments are only accepted online. A 2.9% service fee is assessed with credit card payments. MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. VISA is not accepted. Learn more about credit card payments below. Electronic checks have no cost.

Online payments are made through CampusNet. Log in with your 7-digit CSU ID number and your CampusNet password. (For your password, contact the IS&T Call Center at 216.687.5050.) Once you login, select tab "Account," then select "Make a Payment" below the Account tab and follow the instructions. If you are joining the Budget Payment Plan, you must immediately submit a completed Budget Payment Plan application to the Office of Treasury Services (MC 116) in order to pay online. Once your application has been submitted and verified, the Office of Treasury Services will match your web payment with your completed application. The remaining Budget Payment Plan payments for the term can be made directly online.

Credit Card Payments

Credit card companies charge Cleveland State every time students use their credit card to pay fees. Cleveland State has adopted a "percentage user service fee," a 2.9% service fee that is charged to those who pay their student account using a credit card. Four of the thirteen Ohio universities charge a similar "percentage user service fee" and one university continues its policy of not accepting credit card payments.

For charges not viewable through CampusNet (such as bookstore, parking and library fines, application and transcript fees, VikingCard cash, continuing education courses, etc.), you may pay using your credit card with no service fee.

Why Can't You Pay Using Your VISA?

VISA does not participate in a "percentage user service fee" program.
