IMPORTANT NOTICE ON TIMELY FILING OF PROJECT REPORTS

CSU faculty and staff who have obtained grant funding are almost always required to submit reports to their sponsor, usually on a schedule provided at the time of award.   The Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPR) maintains a database of report due dates for awards received by CSU.

This notice is a reminder that federal and CSU policy requires the timely filing of progress, financial, property and technology reports for all sponsored awards.   OSPR provides CSU grantees with reminders about report due dates; also, the OSPR-generated Notice of Award which is sent to the grantee contains report due dates.  Please be diligent in ensuring that all sponsor reports are filed in a timely fashion.  Not to do so puts the grantee and CSU in a precarious situation with sponsors and could lead to audit findings which would adversely affect CSU's ability to obtain federal funding.  Contact the OSPR at x-3630 if you have questions about the reporting requirements for your grant.
