I am very proud to announce that the Higher Learning Commission at its February 21, 2011 meeting voted to continue the accreditation of Cleveland State University. The University has been granted a full ten year accreditation term.
In addition, we recently received a communication from HLC indicating that our self-study had been selected by readers as the best comprehensive study among the Universities that have been accredited this year. Our study will be featured at the PEAQ Self-Study Fair that is part of the Annual HLC Conference.
These achievements reflect the commitment and work of many faculty, staff, students, Board of Trustees and community members. The passion for the University and its mission is one of the important ingredients that differentiated CSU from the many institutions that were visited in this accreditation cycle.
I am grateful for the energy, zeal and commitment of our university community. We should all feel very good about this national recognition.
