Crime Alert - 9/6/12 - Robbery

Three CSU students reported being robbed |

Two young African American men in their 20's on bicycles. One wore a black shirt and pants; the other wore dark clothing |

Recent thefts have targeted smart phones. It is recommended that smart phones be kept out of sight when walking in public areas.
As an added precaution, University officials are reminding the campus community about practices that can increase personal safety and help deter crime. Walk with bag straps secured around your body. Stay alert, be aware of your surroundings and use well-lit public walkways. When possible, walk with a friend and avoid cell phone use when traveling.
