The University Strategic Planning Committee provides leadership and coordination for the planning process on campus. Support for this committee is provided through the Office of the Vice Provost for Planning, Assessment and Information Resource Management.
The mission of this office is to continually encourage the pursuit of excellence in student learning outcomes of academic and other programs offered at Cleveland State University. The office attempts to raise each program to its next level of excellence and to engage the campus community in the sytematic collection of information regarding student learning outcomes that, in turn, facilitate reflection and program improvement based on assessment findings.
All CSU academic programs are required to undergo program review on a 5 - 7 year review cycle. The campus conducts these required reviews with an eye towards acountability and a need for creating conditions that stimulate introspection, program planning, and a climate for reaching progresssively higher standards of excellence in each department and curricular area.
The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis provides accurate, consistent, and timely information for management decisions at Cleveland State University. It also, provides information needed to meet federal and state requirements and other ad-hoc and special reports as necessary.
Cleveland State has campuses and partnership locations throughout Northeast Ohio. See the websites for East Center and West Center.
This office is responsible for presenting the content of the academic portions of the University website. It maintains the Provost's site, and pages oriented toward academic purposes but for which no specific academic unit is responsible. It provides website services for any unit reporting up to the Provost, if that unit is not able to maintain its own site. It also provides services for sites on the "academic" webserver, academic.csuohio.edu.
