The mission of the AHANA Program is to increase the success and retention rates of first-year AHANA Program participants. The program connects first-year underrepresented students with upper-class peer mentors. Peer mentors coordinate opportunities for students to become acclimated to the campus, as well as to develop their personal, academic, social and cultural experiences through programming and guidance.

To begin to take advantage of what the AHANA Program has to offer, please enroll in our free, optional, non-residential mini-summer bridge program Running S.T.A.R.T., by selecting yes under the heading “Enroll for Summer Program. “ Once you submit your application, you will be contacted within 3-5 business days regarding the status of your application.
