Mission Statement The mission of the AHANA Program is to improve the academic success, retention, and graduation of AHANA freshmen through structured support and peer mentoring relationships. AHANA staff and students coordinate opportunities for first year AHANA students to become acclimated to the Cleveland State University, as well as to develop your personal, academic, social and cultural experiences through programming and guidance.

A free four-day non-residential mini summer bridge program focused on preparing incoming AHANA freshman for college success! Participation in Running S.T.A.R.T automatically enrolls you in the AHANA Program for the Fall Semester.
