Requesting Voice Messaging Service

New office telephone lines will be given voice messaging service upon installation. If voice messaging needs to be added to an existing line please send an email request through your department administrative assistant to the email: telcom@csuohio.edu.

Getting Started

To access the voicemail system, dial 2001 from on-campus or 216-687-2001 from off-campus. When Dialing from off-campus please press “*” after the system answers, followed by your campus extension number as the “ID”, and the password.

User Guides

A quick reference sheet is available for you as you get acquainted with the new system. This reference sheet can be printed and kept next to your phone. (Link to At A Glance document).

Tutorials are available online, click CSU VOICE MESSAGING TUTORIAL. The tutorial “NEAXMail Messaging System Training” will guide you through the features of the system and how you can customize your settings. Training sessions for faculty and staff are available upon request by calling Telecommunications at 216-687-3881.

Password Resets

Please email telecom@csuohio.edu for password resets or call 216-687-3881. Please be prepared with a valid CSUID that will be needed for identity verification.
