Faculty / Staff:
Every student, faculty and staff member at CSU is
assigned an email address. This email is accessible anywhere through
web and/or various software. CSU uses this email address to send you
important announcements such as emergency closings and event announcements.
Students - you are responsible for ensuring that you get your CSU email. Registrars, Admissions, and other departments use your CSU email address to send you information. Many professors will only send email to CSU email addresses. Professors are able to download class rosters that include email addresses, providing them with a much easier method for contacting students. eMail is made available to students who have applied for and are accepted into the University through to a full year after graduating from CSU. You may use the same account information (CSU ID and CampusNet password) to access email as is used for all other network services. This service is available to you by logging on at http://engage365.csuohio.edu If you want to continue to receive mailings sent to your CSU email address, after the account has been deactivated, set the forwarding to a personal email address before the expiration date of one year after graduation by signing into your CampusNet account.
Faculty & staff - Your email account is created when you join CSU. This remains in effect as long .as you are associated with the University. You may use the same account information (CSU ID and CampusNet password) to access email as is used for all other network services. You can also access your email through supported products such as Outlook and MacMail, information can be found at http://www.csuohio.edu/offices/ist/services/training/engage365/
Should you wish to receive your CSU email at your personal email account, simply sign into your account and create a rule to redirect the email. Directions to complete this task can be found by selecting the above link; then select “Engage365 Common Tasks” and select “Set Up Rules”
If you would like to forward your CSU email, you can contact the Help Desk at 216-687-5050 or go to CampusNet: https://campusnet.csuohio.edu/index.jsp (or from the CSU homepage, click on CampusNet). If you do not know your CampusNet ID and password, please contact the Help Desk at 687-5050.

STUDENTS: You are responsible for accessing the email sent to your CSU email account. If you are NOT going to access it through Campus mail, your are responsible for ensuring it is forwarded to a current email address.
Please note, within 2 hours of a forwarding address being set, all mail sent to your CSU email address will be redirected to the address defined in the forwarding, the mail will NOT be delivered to your CSU email account.

Accessing your email
When you sign into your email, please use your CSU ID and your CampusNet password. If you do not know your CampusNet password you can contact the Help Desk at 216-687-5050.
Changing your password
You can change your CampusNet password in CampusNet at https://campusnet.csuohio.edu/index.jsp
